DESCRIPTION:The First Education Symposium is aimed to teach and motivate education professionals\, businesses and the community about the importance of private-public partnerships. Texas Education is under the microscope more than ever. Join us as we show how Industry\, Community\, HISD and our Colleges/Universities are "Working Together to Make a Difference!" Learn about a new initiative with the Chamber\, High Schools\, Colleges and Members creating a Pipeline for students to start a career when they graduate High School.Our goal is to have programs in Houston's East End that ensure our students will succeed and graduate from academic programs matched to industry workforce needs. This half-day Symposium includes Breakfast Speakers\, two Sessions addressing key topics\, Expo and closes with Lunch Speakers.
